The mission of the Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office is to prosecute the Felony, Misdemeanor and Juvenile cases occurring in Baltimore County. This includes the screening of cases, presentation for charging, trial preparation and presentation of evidence. It is our goal to be an advocate for the victim and the citizens of Maryland by presenting a professional prosecution.
Our mission is to serve victims and witnesses, to provide them information, and to comfort and assist them with problems related to their cases.
It is further the mission of the State's Attorney's Office to take a proactive role in the prevention and reporting of Drug Offenses, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assaults and Child Abuse. This is done through individualized handling of cases by specially trained personnel and public outreach programs.
