My name is Picasso! Though I may be shy, I’m an affectionate boy that really enjoys being pet (once I trust you). It took me some time to settle into this environment and learn that people are not so scary. At first, I may hide, but, once someone talks gently to me and reaches out their hand, I will perk up, poke my head out and likely ask for pets. If you give me some gentle slow rubs and keep whispering sweetly to me, I will come out of my den and slowly make my way over to seek more attention. Once I fully warm up, I may press my head into you and purr loudly.

My ideal home would be on the quieter side, with cat savvy adults only. I’m still scared of loud noises and fast movements, so please be calm and go slow with me. When I go home, I will likely hide under furniture and need time to settle in (plus some food bribery and positive reinforcement). Are you willing to be patient with me?

Picasso has showed positive behavior towards other cats at the shelter. He could do well with other cats if proper introductions and a proper two week shut down period is done.
