Parkville Senior Center
The regional Parkville Senior Center is a member of the Parkville Business and Professional Association. Participation in center activities is open to all seniors on a space available basis. Membership is open to Baltimore County residents age 60 and over and their spouses of any age.
PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

- State-of-the-art fitness center and fitness classes
- Creative Arts—We offer several classes from jewelry making to creative writing and painting fundamentals.
- Eating Together Program—Lunch is offered Tuesday through Friday and served at noon. Advance registration is required. Stop by the senior center for the monthly menu and instructions on how to reserve your meal. Enjoy a nutritious meal while socializing with other seniors. A donation of $3 is requested from participants to help with the cost of the meal.
- Physical Activity—Join any of our fitness programs such as Enhance Fitness, line dancing, volleyball, yoga and Zumba. Check our current newsletter for the most up-to-date offerings. Some fees may apply.
- Special Events—Parkville Senior Center has special events scheduled throughout the year. In August, the council hosts August Night Classic Car Show and holiday celebrations are regularly scheduled throughout the year. Join us for our monthly line dance or ballroom social.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST
A Community Outreach Specialist is available at the Parkville Senior Center by calling 410-887-5340. If it is an emergency and they are unavailable, call 410-887-2594.
CENTER CONNECTION MEMBERSHIP
The Center Connection Program is designed for individuals 60 years or older who need supportive services to participate in senior center programs, but do not need physical assistance or close supervision. Members include adults who:
- Have a condition that limits some activities
- Are independent in caring for their basic, physical needs, but lack opportunities to participate in enjoyable activities
- Would like to meet people and participate in a senior center, but need special support and encouragement

The Center Connection Specialist is available to help individuals who require assistance adjusting to the center, as well as assistance to:
- Meet new people
- Choose activities and register for classes
- Connect with community services, like CountyRide, and programs, like the Eating Together Nutrition program
