History of the Silk Road

This program deals specifically with the Silk Road and where it ran, how it came to be named, who traveled it, its importance in world history and what it can teach us about world trade today. 

This presentation emphasizes the central portion of the route running through Inner Asia rather than the end points in Europe and East Asia.
