Akela

Meet Akela! She is a shy girl that could use some help building her confidence. Although she is nervous in her new surroundings, her loving and affectionate personality shines through. She enjoys meeting new people and getting pets. She has shown positive interest in calmer dogs but seems wary of dogs with higher energy. Akela is only available for foster to adopt at this time due to being on treatment for a URI.

Intake Reason: Stray

Medical Info: Akela is on medication for an upper respiratory infection and is only available for FOSTER to ADOPT while on treatment.

Additional Info: Akela must meet any resident dogs prior to adoption. Please note, dog to dog meet and greets cannot be completed until Akela is medically cleared from her URI.

This pet is up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. This pet is available for foster to adopt at our shelter located at 13800 Manor Road in Baldwin. Adoption hours are noon-5pm Tuesday-Sunday and adoption fees are waived!
