As a former street cat, he can be a little apprehensive about seeking attention from people. He has shown no signs of aggression and actually loves being petted once he lets his guard down.
He will need a kind and patient adopter to help him come out of his shell.
In the shelter Bold has had blood in his urine. Possible causes of blood in the urine in cats can include infection, inflammation, urinary crystals or stones, neoplasia, etc. Antibiotics and pain medication have been initiated to treat for possible infections and inflammatory causes.
Some cats who continue to exhibit this clinical sign may need to be started on a prescription diet for urinary health. These diets may need to be continued for the remainder of the cat's life. A follow up with your vet is needed to confirm whether or not there are stones/crystals present and if a prescription diet is needed.

This pet is up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. This pet is available for adoption at our shelter located at 13800 Manor Road in Baldwin. Adoption hours are noon-5pm Tuesday-Sunday and adoption fees are waived!
