Licorice

Meet Licorice! She's a gentle girl who's as sweet as candy. She lets her playful nature shine through when given toys and treats. Her finder advised that she was around their children and their resident dog for a short time, and she did well. Licorice is a loving girl and a volunteer favorite at the shelter. She's looking for a home with lots of love and lots of toys to play with!

Intake Reason: Stray

Health Notes: At this time, it is suspected that she has a congenital condition called an Open Fontanelle. This defect may leave her brain exposed to injury if she ever suffers a direct blow to the head. She should be closely monitored for neurologic defects or seizure activity, and any play with other dogs or children should be closely supervised.
