MASTER PLAN 2030 PHASE II COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Master Plan 2030 development is underway. Through the summer and fall, the Department of Planning conducted a series of Community Engagement Meetings that were held in different communities throughout the County. The input that was gathered will guide the vision for the local community and the County in the next 10 years.
At the heart of this process is the idea that local government should invest more—and more thoughtfully—in its people and infrastructure. Using what we heard in the summer and fall, we’ve developed draft goals for six Master Plan topics. We’re holding public meetings in January and February and are, again, asking for your input on these goals and your assistance in suggesting actions to achieve these goals.

NEW WATER LINE ON REISTERSTOWN ROAD

REHABILITATION FOR OLD COURT ROAD BRIDGE
Baltimore County will begin rehabilitating the 50-foot long Old Court Road Bridge over Bens Run (Bridge B-0237) near Northwest Hospital early this year. The project, which will cost $2 million, will include replacing beams and sidewalks. The start (originally expected to start in November) was delayed by utility relocations, construction material availability, seasonal temperatures and a desire to avoid construction during the holidays. Completion is expected in early 2023. Traffic will be maintained during construction.
