Baltimore County Police Discuss Public Safety in Business Districts

In preparation for this holiday weekend and the many events planned, the Baltimore County Police Department discussed public safety this afternoon. Visitors and county residents can expect an extra police presence in business districts across Baltimore County as the Ravens head to the playoffs, Baltimore County Winter Restaurant Week kicks off, and the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are commemorated. Prior to this weekend's events, the Department has met with business partners to discuss security and effective communication. Meanwhile, community members are asked to respect laws and rules in public venues, drive safely and responsibly, discuss appropriate activities and behaviors with their youth and communicate matters of concern to police or security personnel.
