BCoPD Detectives Investigate Double Shooting in Essex

On November 22, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Essex Precinct responded to the unit block of Glenwood Road., 21221, in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they located 22-year-old Philip Pasingda who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Pasingda was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Officers were then notified of a second individual who walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds. It was determined that both incidents were related and they were together during the shooting. The second individual is a 19-year-old male who remains in a local hospital in serious condition.

While the search for suspect(s) continues, the Baltimore County Police Department asks anyone with pertinent information about this crime or the person(s) responsible to contact homicide detectives by calling 410-307-2020.
