Baltimore County Police Remember Officer Edward Kuznar
This year marks 55 years since the passing of Baltimore County Police Officer Edward Kuznar. On Monday, members of the Baltimore County Police Department will be honoring Officer Kuznar's sacrifice by wearing a memorial ribbon bar on their uniform or mourning band on their badge in his memory. On December 9, 1969, Officer Edward Kuznar was killed in the line of duty after a drunk driver crossed the center line, striking his vehicle. The incident occurred on Route 1 near Kingsville. At the time of his death, Officer Kuznar was a 12-year veteran with the Baltimore County Police Department. He was 41 years old. Officer Kuznar will forever be remembered for his service and sacrifice.
Officer Edward Kuznar's name is proudly inscribed on a monument at Patriot Plaza in Towson, honoring the bravery and sacrifice of all of the Department’s fallen heroes.
