Detectives Investigating Fatal Shooting in Towson

Preliminarily detectives believe that all of the known victims were traveling together in the vehicle that crashed at the scene of the shooting Tuesday evening. One victim has since been released from the hospital. Below is a list of the victims and their ages. Detectives continue to believe this was an isolated incident.

Throughout the night, Baltimore County detectives worked tirelessly at the incident scene, collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing any available surveillance footage to reconstruct a timeline of events. Nine people remain in the hospital this morning.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., officers from the Towson Precinct responded to the 8500 block of Loch Raven Blvd., 21286, following multiple reports of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they located ten individuals suffering from injuries. One of the ten victims was pronounced deceased on the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. Nine victims were transported to area trauma centers. The majority of those transported did suffer from gunshot wounds. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
