HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION FOLLOWING LANSDOWNE SHOOTING

The Baltimore County Police Department has questioned several people in connection to the fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the 3800 block of Hollins Ferry Road. Homicide charges have yet to be filed as this remains an active investigation.

At approximately 2:40 p.m., officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Rd. for a reported shooting in a shopping center parking lot. When officers arrived on scene, they located a 16-year-old male victim across the street with multiple gunshot wounds outside Lansdowne High School. The teen was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. As the investigation into this shooting continues, homicide detectives are asking anyone with information about the case to contact 410-887-4636 (INFO).
