Suspect Arrested in Theft of Dirt Bikes
Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Police Department’s Towson Precinct arrested 31-year-old Keddric Anderson following a series of dirt bike thefts that occurred between November 11 to December 22, 2024 in the Towson Precinct. At least three of the thefts occurred after the victim and suspect arranged to meet through an online marketplace. On one occasion, the suspect reportedly displayed a handgun. Anderson, who was arrested in connection to the theft of six dirt bike, faces several charges including assault, vehicle theft, and armed carjacking. Anderson is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
The Baltimore County Police Department would like to remind residents that each of the Department’s ten precincts has a “Transaction Safe Zone” available for in-person transactions related to online purchases or child custody exchanges.
The Transaction Safe Zone program provides a safe location that is:
- Open to the public
- Video recorded at all times
- Well-lit
- Marked with visible signage
The designated zones also provide safe spaces for child custody exchanges. Utilizing these secure zones aims to give residents peace of mind while enhancing their safety.
