The 58,000-square-foot center is the largest community center in Baltimore County. It provides:
- Multipurpose gymnasium
- Three basketball courts
- Two volleyball courts
- Four-lane indoor track
- 25 meter, six-lane indoor pool managed by the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of Central Maryland

Randallstown Community Center offers programs for all ages. Please register in advance.
Summer Basketball League
The Baltimore County Summer Basketball League runs from June 24 to August 14. Teams of 8 to 12 boys may be submitted for the middle school league (ages 11 to 13) and high school league (ages 13-17). Games are 40 minutes (20-minute halves) on Tuesdays or Thursday evenings. The price is $425 per team.
Youth and Family Basketball
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 3 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Play a pickup game and shoot hoops with friends and family. Players are encouraged to bring a basketball. For 17 and under accompanied by an adult. Free.
Drop-In Pickleball
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Open pickleball for all skill levels. Players are encouraged to bring a paddle. For ages 18 and up. Free.
Drop-In Ping Pong
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to noon
Open ping pong for all skill levels. Players are encouraged to bring a paddle. For ages 18 and up. Free.
Facility Rentals
Middle River Recreation Activity Center facilities are available for rentals.
We offer a Party Package perfect for birthday parties that includes a two-hour rental of a cafeteria or multipurpose room and gymnasium.
Indoor Pool
The YMCA of Central Maryland, who will bring 156 years of experience to the community, will manage and operate the swimming pool, officially known as the YMCA Aquatics Center at Randallstown. The YMCA will provide a wide variety of aquatic experiences for participants of all ages and swimming abilities.
Schedule
Under an agreement with Baltimore County, the YMCA will open the aquatic center for community use (YMCA non-members):
- Year-round: Every Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
- Fall, Winter and Spring: One evening per week from 4 to 9 p.m.
- Summer: One weekday per week from 1 to 9 p.m.
Daily Rates
The following daily rates will apply for community use:
- $3 for children up to 11 years of age
- $7 for individuals 12 years and older
- $4 for seniors

History
The idea to have a community center built originated in 2003 from community meetings that began with the Urban Design Assistance Team (UDAT).
Total cost of the project was $13 million, including $2.9 million in state funding and a $400,000 federal grant, secured by Senator Barbara Mikulski, to fund the technology center and computer room.
