Boards and Commissions

There are over 60 boards and commissions that study a variety of topics.

Baltimore County Executive John Olszewski, Jr. and the Baltimore County Council encourage citizens who live or work in Baltimore County to become active and serve on various County boards and commissions. Qualified volunteers should be willing to contribute their time and attend regular meetings for the purpose of making recommendations to County government that enhance the quality of life in our County.

How to Apply

If you're interested in serving on a County board or commission, apply for a vacancy online.

Please note that appointed members to certain boards or commissions are required to file an annual disclosure statement. This requirement is mandated by statute.
